Train & Combat and Advanced Skills Camp

We're excited to get back on the hardwood with our Recreational Programs in our LEAGUE format... however due to current COVID times we are flip flopping our spring and fall/winter Leagues.  3 on 3 Instructional Leagues will run this fall and 5 on 5 Instructional Leagues will run this spring.  Ways we’ll keep our players safe and the experience top of the line:

  • 3 on 3 Games- Lower number of participants per court space
  • Players and Coaches only allowed into the gym
  • Player and Coaches will follow Illinois Department of Public Health recommendations and wear masks during participation, until guidelines change (we may adjust mid-season to allow families an option).
  • Temperatures taken and recorded daily
  • LIVE Streaming of 3 on 3 Game Segment
  • Check out more information on protocol on our PINK ELITE COVID page

Update 10/30- Our 3 on 3 League has been converted to our "Train and Combat" program to align with the Restore Illinois guidelines being moved to Level 1, which means non-contact trainings. If the guidelines change again during this fluid time we will transition this program back to the original 3 on 3 Instructional League format as all teams are already set to go.

League placement question? E-mail coach Chelsea

Note: Returning Players can assume their league placement would be the same as the recent Summer Camp  unless you've been notified otherwise.  Upon receiving your registration we will notify you if a different Level would be a better fit for your baller!

Why 3 on 3 League?!

I strongly believe that 3 on 3 games is the best way to engage and develop young players.  There has been a large amount of research to back this theory, but ultimately the benefits are unwavering!  This style of game allows players more touches to be engaged in each play of the game in dribbling, passing, and shooting.  With less players on the floor and additional touches it really allows players to really learn the game and just PLAY!

-Coach Chelsea

What to expect in "Camp Instruction"?
Players will learn all basic fundamentals to the game in a smaller group setting with coaches that know the game of basketball.  We focus on ballhandling, proper shooting mechanics, passing fundamentals, and offensive moves to the basket!  Players will get many repetitions to really start to develop their skills and develop confidence in their game.

How teams are assigned?
Every effort is made to make teams as even as possible to allow player growth and development.  Parent input on evaluating their daughter's mastered skills at registration is critical for proper placement.  If you'd like to request a friend to play on your daughter's team we'll do our best to fulfill your request.

Why should you register for the "Advanced Skills Camp" too?
It provides your daughter an opportunity to really develop more fundamental skills through additional skill practice.  This is where we can break down each skill to smaller steps to improve understanding and then take each skill to a step further from the regular camp time.  If your daughter is really starting to love the game of basketball, then this is the place to go to help take her game to the next level!

Volunteer Coaches Role- do you want to step up?!
Pinkalicious and PINK ELITE paid coaches will be responsible for all instruction during the "Camp" portion of the day and will coach and referee during the 3 on 3 games.  Volunteer Coaches will assist during the practices and games to sub players in and out and give some direction to players on the floor in addition to the Pinkalicious and PINK ELITE coaches that will be there as well.
